Elaine Dowman Joins Advisory Board of NEXUS Games Conference
NEXUS is delighted to announce that Elaine Dowman, games industry leader and Board Member of IMIRT – the Irish Game Makers Association – has officially joined the Advisory Board of NEXUS Games Conference, taking place in Dublin on October 1st & 2nd, 2025.
Elaine has been a passionate advocate for the Irish games industry and a driving force in supporting game developers across the country and beyond. Through her work with IMIRT, she has played a key role in fostering community, promoting innovation, and advancing the visibility of Irish game developers on a national and international stage.

As a member of the NEXUS Advisory Board, Elaine will contribute her expertise to help shape the vision, programming, and direction of this year’s conference. Her experience in both grassroots game development and industry leadership will be instrumental in ensuring NEXUS remains a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking space for networking, learning, and collaboration.
In addition to joining the NEXUS Advisory Board, we are also excited to announce that Elaine will also act as MC for NEXUS Games Conference for the second consecutive year.
